This interactive course teaches the art and science of persuasive communication that will lead to better executed strategies. This is an interactive course. The moderator will give examples and steps on how to achieve each of the key benefits of the course. Attendants will then be asked to do individual work as well as group work. In some sections, volunteers will be selected to present before the audience and receive feedback.

COURSE OUTLINE
Module 1: Framework for Effective Communications
Participants
will learn the process and skills for effective communications. This
includes analyzing your audience, tailoring your message against a recommended
framework. Participants will be asked to talk before their fellow participants
to demonstrate key points using their seminar pre-work.
Module
2: Techniques for Content and Delivery Part 1
This
includes creating a communications plan as well as tools and techniques for
crafting business presentations, business updates and employee updates
Module
3: Tools and Techniques for Content and Delivery Part II
This module
focuses on the tools and techniques for script writing, visual aids, physical
impressions during delivery as well as body language and speaking techniques.
This session will also ask participants to present their pre-work and rework their pre-work based on techniques for speech content as well as tools and techniques for script writing.
Module 4:
Communicating in Different Situations
Moderator
will touch on key note addresses, extemporaneous talks, sales rally talks,
opening remarks, closing remarks and tips on dealing with the media.
Participants will also learn techniques for staying on time, and controlling an audience.
METHODOLOGIES
Participants will be required to prepare two talks. One business talk and an inspirational/ motivational talk. Content should be based on a topic that the participant is familiar with and should NOT exceed 5 minutes.
As this is a course on effective communications, participants should be ready to present to their fellow participants. Feedback will be given in a friendly, constructive manner. Participants will also be asked to rework their prepared speeches throughout the course based on the topics covered.

She is also the former President Director of P.T Avon, Indonesia, former General Manager of Avon (Philippines), Agora Awardee (Asia Pacific) ’99 and former VP of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation. Gary Carandang is a seasoned leader with 30 years of solid track record and experience in multinational companies such as Nestle, Mead Johnson Nutrition, Coca Cola, La Farge, CRH (Republic Cement) and Pepsi Cola. He specializes in the areas of General Management, Commercial and Operations Integration, with emphasis on Leadership and Team Development as well as Strategy Execution for Leaders, Teams and Business Organizations.
Gary is an alumnus of the INSEAD Business School, one of the world's leading and largest business schools. He also obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics Degree from the University of the Philippines in Los Baños.
